In-Person Appointments

We offer two different in-person appointments at Higher Elevation Studio. You can choose to have a taped audition or a Zoom/EcoCast Live session. You can read more about each below or get other specific details from our FAQ section.

Audition Taping

Taped auditions at Higher Elevation Studio are some of the most recommended in the industry!

What you’ll get:

  • Our appointments come in 10, 20, 40, or 60 minutes.
  • You’ll be in a dedicated space within our studio.
  • You’ll have industry professional lighting, camera, sound, and a gray backdrop.
  • You’ll get an actor as a reader and a taper who can provide feedback on your audition if requested.
  • We will edit and label your auditions which will be sent to you via WeTransfer.

Zoom / EcoCast Live

These are in-person sessions that are usually callbacks, but occasionally an initial audition. You simply bring yourself and we’ll take care of the rest.

What you’ll get:

  • We’ll log in as you for the session.
  • A screen next to the camera will display the casting director to preserve eyelines.
  • We’ll remain in the room to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Memberships

Higher Elevation Studio offers different membership options to suit your budget and needs. The memberships allow you to book freely without the need to pay per appointment as well as offering discounts on other services offered by the studio.

Please schedule appropriately

If you have multiple auditions/pages, you will need more than 10 minutes.

Members, please only schedule the time you need for the audition. Overbooking your time results in other people being unable to audition.

Everyone’s appointment will start at their scheduled time and end at their scheduled time. If you are not on time, you will have a shorter appointment.

FAQ

What is your cancelation/rescheduling policy?

All appointments must be canceled or rescheduled prior to two (2) hours ahead of your appointment. Otherwise, you’ll be invoiced or charged for your appointment. This includes members.

When will you edit my audition?

Your auditions are edited when time permits between clients. We are usually running one taper at a time, so it may take a while to get the videos sent. Normally, we’re able to edit between clients, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it sometimes takes longer.

If you have an audition that’s due within the same day, please inform us, so we can prioritize your audition. Alternatively, we do offer transferring unedited files to you, so you can edit your own instead. We try to be as accommodating as possible.

Will you upload our takes to Actors Access?

No, we will not upload your takes/files for you to Actors Access or other casting websites. We will send your files to you via WeTransfer only. This ensures that you are able to check behind us for mistakes in editing or filenames.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal.

What are the membership scheduling limitations?

Members are limited to the amount of time their level allows. It is HIGHLY frowned upon for members to try and “reserve” space. That causes a lot of scheduling issues,¬†and the studio suffers in the end. If the studio suffers, we all suffer.
