Incorporating Improv Techniques into Scripted Work

When: Saturday, March, 26 - Time: 2pm-6pm - Cost: $100

Join us for this exciting workshop taught by the skilled actor and improviser, Jason Stackhouse. In this workshop, we will go over how improvisation can help bring your scripted, acting performances, new life and depth. We will teach you the techniques that will help you incorporate improvisation into your scripted work for a more grounded and in the moment performance. We will work through many exercises which will help to give you the skill sets needed to create the best possible audition and performance. We will, also, go over and teach the importance of living in the environment of the scene, and how this brings about a much deeper performance that casting directors are looking for.

  • Learn the importance of body movement in your scripted work.
  • Learn to recapture the imagination of childhood to help you create a more grounded and heartfelt performance.
